Moms are set for a treat this Mother’s Day with the Olde Town Arvada Gift Card. The Olde Town Arvada Gift Card can be spent with over 60 stores, restaurants, attractions and services in the area.
Gift Cards can be loaded for any amount from $5 to $500 and are available to buy online or in person. If purchased online, the Gift Card can be mailed directly to mom with a gift message.
The pandemic has influenced attitudes towards Mother’s Day with the National Retail Federation reporting that 78% of respondents said celebrating the occasion was more important to them in 2020. The NRF also revealed that the average spent on Mother’s Day gifts and celebrations in 2020 increased by $8 to $205. Overall spend on Mother’s Day in 2020 was $26.7 billion, up from $24.6 billion in 2019.
A 2019 survey found that Gift Cards were the most popular of category of gifts for Mother’s Day, with 96% of respondents opting for Gift Cards for their moms. Gift Cards were more popular than a meal (93%), flowers (88%), clothing (85%) and spa services (66%), finding that 70% of respondents planned to buy from specialty stores and most indicating they would make multiple purchases.

The Olde Town Arvada Gift Card was introduced in 2021 and is powered by fintech Miconex in association with international payments technology solutions provider EML Payments, as a way to encourage local shopping and keep money locked into the local area.
EML and Miconex operate over 200 programs around the world, including downtown gift card programs, mall gift card programs Town and City Gift Card programs.
